Welcome to the Charis Crew!

The Charis Crew is a fun new club that has been added to CAC this year. Some upperclassmen girls wanted to start this club to create a more tight knit community between the girls at the school! Junior Cadie Moore is one of the creators of the Charis Crew. This club is open to all girls 6-12th. Cadie says that the reason why they started the club is because they were seeing a lack of community between some of the upperclassmen and the lowerclassmen and they wanted to make a place where girls could encourage each other and lift each other up! She says, “We wanted to start a culture of kindness.” They took this idea and ran with it! She also says, “We wanted to create a culture that is loving, compassionate, and caring for each other.”

Cadie says that she encourages every girl to join the club. She says she wants girls to know that they don’t have to be scared to join the club. She says to the girls in the student body, “I want you to know that you are welcome, and you are invited.” One of the coolest things about the Charis Crew is that younger kids can get to know older girls and learn from them. It’s a really special thing to meet upperclassmen girls and be encouraged by them. “You get to personally know a lot of people. The club can help you connect on a deeper level with Christ and also with each other” One of the goals of the club is to not just be another random club, but to be a community instead. “We want to be encouraging and make this a great spiritually and community impacted club!”

This month, CAC’s monthly mustang mission is Feeding The Multitude. Junior class officers, Whitley Tanner and Delaney Huffman, are passionate about this month’s mission. At CAC we are all very blessed. This month especially is a huge month for us to give back to those who are in need.

“We’re raising awareness for people who don’t have things for thanksgiving and the holidays so we’re bringing that to people who need it and bringing them joy of the holidays,” Delanie explains

At CAC we have monthly mustang missions. Each month of the school year we give to a different cause. Feeding the Multitude is a perfect mustang mission as we get to remember all the things we have to be thankful for while also helping others while spreading God’s love.

Whitley says, “CAC, the core of it is giving and having a heart like Jesus so that’s the main reason why we’re doing this just to give to others and help support them.”

While there is no specific number goal, Whitley urges the student body to bring as much of their grade assigned food as they can. She says this because we are giving to others and spreading love so everyone should try to contribute as much as they’re able. Everything we do here at CAC is for the Father.

When I'm a senior, I want to...

Remember when you were in kindergarten and you were asked what you wanted to be when you grow up? It's no surprise that our answers change over the years. We asked a few of our middle school students to picture themselves as seniors and asked "What will you want to be when you grow up?"

Speak Up — Noah Ramey

Noah Ramey is a junior at CAC who works at a local country club where he manages carts and the driving range. On a daily basis, Noah is responsible for cleaning the carts after they've been used. Each day he makes sure that the carts are ready for the next day. He also picks up and cleans the range to keep it looking good. One of his favorite parts is being outdoors. Noah has been working at the country club for about a year.
