Student Fundraiser – LAST CHANCE!

This weekend is the last chance for the student fundraiser to raise money for additional security cameras throughout the school. The official end date is Friday, November 7, but the fundraiser has been extended through the end of the weekend to allow time for any last-minute shoppers to get their orders in.

As a final reminder, any student who makes at least one sale will be allowed to participate in a dress down day (DDD) on Friday, November 21, 2025. Students can check to see how many sales they have made through their online account, or they can check with their teachers at the end of next week when sellers list is finalized at the conclusion of the fundraiser.

Please see the fundraiser announcement for additional details about registering, sharing, shopping the sale, and winning prizes!

Book Fair Is Coming Soon

It’s time for our Book Fair! Family and friends are welcome to shop with their child’s class or to visit before/after school. The Book Fair will be open until 6:00 P.M. on Thursday evening. If you’re doing some early Christmas shopping, feel free to ask Mrs. Kaiser to set something aside for you, or swing by during adult shopping hours.

Proceeds from this event fund both of the St. Vincent de Paul libraries for the year. We will also be sharing books from this fair with Holy Name Catholic School. We are very grateful for your support!

3rd & 4th Grade Grandparent and Special Friend Day

On Friday, November 7th, the third and fourth grade students hosted grandparents or special friends for a special morning. They joined together for the celebration of Mass and then played bingo and ate donuts together.
Many thanks to Christy Storm for organizing the event and to all the students and parents who assisted in setting up, greeting, serving, and cleaning afterward.

We couldn’t host events such as this without your help. Thank you!

Stuffies Needed

Have some extra critters laying around the house? No, not the creepy crawling bugs or mice that might be coming in during the colder weather. I’m talking about the stuffed or rubber kind. The PE department would love to take any beanie babies, small stuffed animals, or small toy animals off of your hands. The younger grades will be working on rolling/bowling soon and would love to do an activity called Bowling For Critters. Stuffies should be no bigger than a box of facial tissue for comparison. If you’re not sure if it’s something that I would take, please feel free to reach out to me at booneb@svdpomaha.org and I’d be happy to answer your questions.

Thank you for the consideration, and I look forward to helping you with your critter problem!

Mr. Boone
