Students heavily rely on faculty for assistance making plans for after graduation and developing skills that are relevant to their future careers. In Spring 2025, graduating senior UAH students responded to the NSSE survey and were asked to report whether they talked about their career plans with a faculty member. 77% of students indicated they talked with a faculty member with 34% indicating this was a frequent occurrence. A recent report by the National Association for Colleges and Employers reported differences among disciplines and suggested integrating career competencies and experiential learning in courses.

New Panopto Editing Feature -
Be Careful |
A new software feature - the Save As function in Panopto video editing - has been enabled in Panopto. When used, the changes made are permanent in the video. This means if you deleted a portion of the video, it will be permanently deleted. If you Apply changes, then the changes are reversible. If you plan to use the Save As function when editing your video, we strongly recommend you first make a copy of it. For more information on the use of the Save As function, check out this video and feel free to contact ETLC at helpdesk@uah.edu.
