This is a train-the-trainer workshop, so may be most applicable to Tribal agriculture staff. Managing produce safety and organic requirements can be challenging and the regulatory frameworks for both FSMA Produce Safety Rule (PSR) and the USDA National Organic Program (NOP) can be complex. This one-day workshop will help agriculture professionals to more effectively support their organic produce farmers by demystifying the interplay between these two regulatory requirements.

Feedback Request: Strengthening the Tribal Nutrition Workforce Survey

The College of Menominee Nation, Lac Courte Oreilles Ojibwe University, and the University of Wisconsin - Madison invites employers and organizational leaders to share their perspectives on workforce needs in nutrition, dietetics, food service, healthcare, and food systems within Tribal communities. The partners developed this survey to help identify workforce priorities, hiring challenges, and training needs to inform the development of an intertribal higher education certificate and related workforce pathways.
