Step 1: Prepare Your Materials
Review your course syllabus, course organization materials, grading rubrics, and examples of student assessments. Consider how these elements align with your learning objectives. Ask for a Master course in Canvas if you do not already have one and copy the latest version of the course to be reviewed.
Step 2: Answer the Questions
Review the CDR rubric and answer the questions in our online form explaining your course design choices. A worksheet is available with the questions to allow you to work on your answers before actually entering them into the online form.
Step 3: Submit for Review
Once you submit the form online, you will receive an email within one (1) business day with a link to a Google document in which your feedback and progress will be kept. An Instructional Designer will contact you with feedback on your course.
Step 4: Receive Recognition
After successfully meeting all the standards at least at the foundational level, you'll receive a certificate that can be presented at your annual review and a Credly badge that can be displayed as you desire.
