This year our school Service Committee has planned activities to encourage all students to serve and help others just like our patron saint, St. Vincent de Paul. During the year, students will work with their “Buddies” to complete projects for different community organizations. In October, Kindergarteners and their 4th grade buddies colored fall pictures for the Parsons House hoping to brighten the day of some in this community. Classes will also take part in “Campus Clean Up” projects during the year. They will spend a short time with their classmates and teachers picking up trash around the school grounds. We care about our school campus!

We are asking the school community to help in a collection for the St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry. During the week of November 12th -15th, we will be collecting the following canned items:
-canned beans (black, garbanzo, kidney, etc)
-canned fruit of any kind
-canned Manwich/sloppy joe
-canned pasta (Chef Boyardee)
-canned soups, chili or stew
Together we CAN make a difference for many families this Thanksgiving season.
