         Quality Matters Certification Highlights

 
Celebrating Excellence in Course Design! We are proud to announce the following faculty have been awarded the prestigious Quality Matters (QM) Certification. Victoria Vandenburg ENGL 1010 and Michael Shen MKT 2010. This acknowledgment highlights their commitment to high-quality course design and improving the learning experience for students.  The courses are now officially listed in the QM directory of certified courses. Congratulations on this outstanding achievement!
 

AOQF 

 
: Become an AOQF Peer Reviewer. If you complete 3 AOQF course reviews in one semester you can earn $500. To become an AOQF Peer Reviewer, you must complete the APPQMR, have taught an online course in the last year, and complete the AOQF Peer Reviewer Workshop.  Click anywhere on this announcement to be taken to the AOQF Peer Reviewer Application Ticket.
 

                   AOQF Program Highlights

The Austin Peay State University Online Quality Fundamentals (AOQF) exemplifies our dedication to excellence in online education.  In two years, over 140 courses have been certified, supported by 24 peer reviewers.  In 2024-2025 alone, we are on track for 70 courses to receive this certification.  This initiative fosters collaboration, prioritizes student success, and engages faculty by ensuring our online courses adhere to five foundational principles of course design.
 

          Instructional Technology Tool Updates

 
Attention YuJa Users!! Our contract for YuJa media management will expire in December 2025. It’s important to take immediate action and be proactive in managing your media. Please review all your media in YuJa. Download relevant files for future use. Delete files that are irrelevant or unwanted. Videos in D2L courses, currently hosted by YuJa, will need to be downloaded from YuJa, uploaded to the D2L Media Library, and the existing links replaced inside the courses. 931-221-6625. APSU has limited cloud storage, and we need YOUR assistance to ensure that we never run out of space! Please review your Zoom cloud recordings and delete them where possible. Watch this short video to learn more about deleting entire recordings or specific files.

 Things to consider:

Is the recording not for a course or not something you are actively using, but something you want to keep?... Consider downloading the recording from Zoom.

What are you actually recording from each meeting?... Check your recording settings in Zoom.
