Dear Parents/Guardians,
St. Vincent de Paul Elementary School's field day for grades K-5 will be held on Monday, May 19th. The rain-out date is Monday, May 20th. We are very excited for this year’s theme of Wet and Wild, where water plays a major factor in the stations. Please review the dress code below and let me know if you have any questions.
Dress Code for the day:
- Students are allowed to wear shorts, jeans, or sweatpants, with an appropriate t-shirt or sweatshirt (no sleeveless tops, please). No skirts.
- Tennis shoes are required to be worn for participation, no sandals. For safety reasons, these shoes must cover the toe and heel of the student, and remain on the foot of the student when the students runs. Parents will be called to bring the correct shoes if a student is not wearing proper ones.
- No Swimsuits.
- Socks must follow the dress code.
- When outdoors, hats may be worn to aid in protection from the sun.
Lunch:
- Lunch will still be served as normal.
Please note:
- We ask that students please bring their own water bottles and have them labeled.
- Please keep all sunscreen bottles at home and sunscreen your child before they come to school.
- The stations will involve water this year, and your child will get wet. It’s advised to send them with an extra pair of clothes to change into and possibly a towel, especially if your child (3-5) is in the morning session.
- Parents or guests are NOT permitted to come to watch the events.

Annual Student Health Update Forms |
Thank you to parents who have completed and submitted the Annual Student Health Update Form already.
In addition to providing immunization and other updates, the form allows parents to authorize the school to seek emergency medical treatment for children if necessary and to authorize the school to follow its asthma/anaphylaxis protocol for a student if applicable. Such authorizations are essential in order for school staff to act appropriately in critical situations.
Form submissions are due by May 1, 2025. To complete forms for your children, log into your parent PowerSchool account, click on Forms in the left navigation pane, and then open and complete the health form. The form will need to be completed and submitted for all children individually.
Click here for the parent PowerSchool login page. Contact Ray Bentzen (bentzenr@svdpomaha.org) if you need assistance accessing your account.
Thank you for your attention to this important matter.
