In this presentation Dan and Albert will describe the LIVE eye tracking entryway display, a unique means of exploring the technologies underlying eye tracking by creating artistic, informative, or experimental interactive experiences. The system they've created allows a wide range of visitors and LIVE community members to record and then play back a record of their gaze while viewing brief displays.

Dan and Albert will present a brief background covering some basic principles of eye tracking, describe the display along with some of the initial applications they have created with it, and then describe its capabilities. They will also provide opportunities for attendees to experience the display and to brainstorm on creative applications for it. Pizza lunch will be provided. 

The LIVE Student Horizon Grant offers up to $1,000 to support LIVE students in presenting their research at an international conference. This grant is designed to supplement gaps in grant funding and to offset travel expenses to foster academic and professional growth for student members of the LIVE community.

The Horizon Grant will provide students an opportunity to share their research and network with global scholars while contributing to LIVE's visibility and impact in relevant academic communities. The grants will be issued twice a year with one round issued for conferences in January through June and a second round for conferences between July and December.
