In order to help students arrive on campus in time for 7:30 a.m. final exams, the following transit routes will start early December 16-20:

Route 34: Services will start at 6:52 a.m. from Highpointe.

Route 36: Service will start at 6:58 a.m. from Frontier & Trail.

Route 38:  Service will start at 6:40 a.m. from The Reserve.

Route 42:  Service will start at 6:50 a.m.

Route 43:  Service will start at 6:50 a.m.

Routes 4, 8, 10, 11, 12, and 30 will start at their regular times. All routes will end service at their normal times each day. Route and schedule information is online at www.lawrencetransit.org.

All student parking lots will be open on Stop Day and during Finals. This includes anything marked yellow or green on the parking map! Restrictions will begin again on June 2 in yellow zones. Green zones are open for the summer.

Jayhawk Boulevard will be closed to drive-through traffic until 11AM Friday, May 16, and red, blue, and gold zones will be ticketed as usual.

SafeBus service for this semester will end on Saturday, May 10. SafeRide will start at 9:30 p.m. during the week of Finals, and will have the last night of service of this semester on Friday, May 16.

SafeRide will operate regular hours (10:00 p.m. – 2:30 a.m.) Thursday-Saturday nights during the summer semester, June 5-July 25. Download our SafeRide scheduling app “KU SafeRide” (by Spare) to schedule your rides from your phone!

Service ends on Friday, May 16, for routes 30, 34, 36, 38, and 43. Routes 1-10 will be on their normal schedules, and routes 11, 12, and 42 will operate the ‘B’ schedule over the Summer.

Red, blue, and gold zones are restricted year-round. Yellow zones will be restricted June 2 - July 25.

Green zones will be open and Jayhawk Boulevard will be open to drive-through traffic through the summer. Restrictions will begin again on August 18.
