Thank You!
On Tuesday morning we were surprised to hear a beautiful announcement over the intercom. We noticed a group of students coming into the office but had no idea what they were doing. It is hard to put into words the touching message they delivered. To be acknowledged for being in positions that we love is nice, but to have families, teachers, and staff raise money in our names to help those suffering loss from the April 26 tornado is one of the most heart-warming moments for all of us.
We were told that in honor of Principal Appreciation, the school collected donations in our names to help families directly affected by the tornado. The money collected totaled $3700.00!! The money will be used to purchase gift cards for the families. We are moved beyond words for the generosity and support for these families. Thank you to everyone! This has to be the best Principal Appreciation ever!!
