It’s been great to welcome students back and see campus buzzing again. I hope your student is settling into their routines after the first week of classes and feeling motivated for the semester ahead.
While spring is still a little ways off, remind your student that OhioHealth Campus Care, located across from College Green, is available if they’re feeling under the weather. The care team there can help with things like vaccines, urgent care, immune support tips and more. Even Rufus doesn't feel like himself sometimes!
As always, reach out if I can be of support.

THRiVE is OHIO’s student-focused well-being initiative. We understand that no two students or their relationship with well-being are exactly alike, and college life can sometimes be busy and stressful. THRiVE Thursdays, which will take place during February, are a chance to explore OHIO resources from basic needs to group fitness, connect with other students, and feel empowered to take on the semester.

Your student is not alone |
Group counseling isn’t about sharing everything — it’s about realizing you’re not alone. It's an opportunity to connect with other students, learn practical coping skills and get support in a space that’s confidential and judgment-free.

Returning student Room Selection |
Housing and Residence Life is offering information sessions on four different dates to provide students with details about the upcoming 2026-27 Room Selection Process. Each day, there will be two sessions, one at 5 p.m. and another at 6 p.m. We encourage your student to attend a session to learn more about the room selection process and explore the opportunity to speak with Housing staff about any questions they may have.
Did we mention that by attending they will have a chance to win priority selection?
