- Shout-out to the group of hard-working reading teachers at Bellevue Elementary School who joined the Collaborative Coach cohort this spring. Quintett Bowers, Katlyn Bowman, Corless Brown, Ladonna Jarvis, Peggy Keene, Emma Kessler, Sarah Kirby, Michele Smith, and Anna Waters spent 8 weeks refining routines and correction feedback procedures of all lesson components of our reading intervention program. Teachers shared video reflections of their learning as well as excerpts from teaching with a coach. Thank you for working to continually improve your practice to be the best teachers possible, even as the school year winds down. You are mighty, Dragons!
- Huge shout-out and congratulations to the Richmond Technical Center's Pharmacy Technician Program Director, Tiffany Pierce, for bringing RTC to ASHP National Accreditation status. We are so proud of all of the work and countless hours that Ms. Pierce has put in over the last year to accomplish this recognition. Thank you, Ms. Pierce! RTC and RPS CTE appreciate you!
- Huge shout-out to Mrs. Evans at Southampton Elementary. I can’t put into words how thankful I am that my son was blessed with her kind, generous, and devoted spirit. She made 2nd grade his best year yet and we will be forever thankful for her.
- Happy birthday to our phenomenal instructional compliance coordinator, Ms. Pamela Ragin, at Huguenot High School. Ms. Ragin, thank you for all you do! You always go the extra mile! Enjoy your special day.
- Shout-out to Ms. K. Roberts and her 3rd block 8th graders who have won a pizza party for the most i-Ready reading usage for Spring 2023. Keep up the great work, Ms. Roberts!
- I wanted to give a huge shout-out to Ms. Taylor (1st grade teacher). My son has been in her class since the kids came back from winter break. Since he has been in her class, he's done a complete 180. She has been so helpful, understanding & patient. I truly appreciate her & Ms. Buie from RBHA for helping & redirecting when needed.
- School Nutrition Services would like to send our appreciation to Mr. Jonathan Goode, supervisor, and welcome our new director, Ms. Shannon Ebron! Mr. Goode has served SNS for 34 years, most recently as the supervisor of all middle and high school cafeteria operations, while acting as our interim director. Ms. Ebron has nourished the St Louis, MO community for ten years through school meals and looks forward to bringing her experience and innovative ideas to the students at RPS!
