We're nearly to the half-way point of the semester. Now is a good time to remind your student to meet with their Academic Advisor, find their favorite study space for midterms and check in on ways to support their well-being.
I'm excited to cheer on our Bobcats and welcome our alumni back to campus throughout the week for Homecoming! Our Bobcat families are of course welcome to join the celebration too. This week is a time for all Bobcats, current and past, to celebrate what it means to be a part of the OHIO community.
We're also nearing Halloween weekend in Athens. Though the University does not organize the events Uptown the weekend of October 25, we do take steps to make sure students are celebrating safely. Students will receive a message from me early next week with more details. Students can also find alternative events from the Collegiate Recovery Community this weekend and the following.
Enjoy this beautiful fall weather!
