Physiology Seminar Series presents Hexokinases – Adventures in Metabolic Complexity, Regulation, & Function with R. Open MIC (Medical Innovation Challenge) Night - A 3-Minute Pitch Contest Evaluated by Experts - for all medical and PhD students, postdocs/residents/fellows, faculty, staff, and anyone at Tulane with ideas for innovative medical solutions. Register by March 1 for pitch mentoring. Open MIC Night will be held Thursday, March 16 at 6 pm. Chapter IV restaurant. 1315 Gravier Street.

Tulane Center for Clinical Research presents the 8th Annual LaCaTS Step 1 Coordinator Training. Friday, March 3 from 8 am to 3 pm. Register by Monday, February 27. Hutchinson auditorium. Tulane medical students and mentor investigate racial health disparities

Three years after the COVID-19 pandemic exposed racial and ethnic health disparities nationwide, those disparities continue to exist in American communities of color.

At Tulane School of Medicine, a diverse team of medical students has worked alongside Dr. Keith C. Ferdinand, the Gerald S. Berenson chair of preventative cardiology, to examine racial and ethnic health disparities and, in some cases, provide solutions. Read more here.
