| Volunteer Service Opportunity
One of Oklahoma City’s favorite events is just around the corner and our Volunteer Service Committee co-chairs Ron Stakem and Ron Suttles need your help! The Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon will be the morning of Sunday, April 27 and our club will be managing a marathon hydration station located along Classen Curve near Calvert’s Nursery. We are working on final time details that will be released but this is a morning event for your early stages of planning. The link to sign-up will be available through our newsletter as well as additional details when they are finalized and we hope to see you at the race!

World Community Service Travel OpportunityWe have a travel opportunity available through our World Service Committee. Thanks to your contributions to The Rotary Foundation of Rotary International, we were able to complete an Auto Mechanics Training Global Grant in Piura, Peru.
Mary Jane Calvey is leading the efforts of planning a trip to celebrate the successful implementation of this grant in Peru and invites any Rotary member plus their spouse who may want to travel to the celebration and meet fellow Rotarians from the Miraflores Rotary Club of Piura. Travel dates will be September 20 through September 27, 2025 and a travel agent in country is assisting in lodging and transport accommodations. Should you wish to join, you can even choose to add time in Peru if you want to explore other parts of the beautiful country. For more information, please contact Mary Jane Calvey.

"Fun Car Show"Do you have a fun car or truck, one that causes people to give you a thumbs up when they see it? The Member Engagement Committee thinks this would be a great "extra". The plan is to set up one Tuesday in June, plus a rain date, when we'll all drive ours to Rotary. We'll put them on the front row at St. Luke's, arriving a little early and staying a little late, to give our fellow Rotarians a chance to look them over.
