Meet the PNC Slate

Please join us for a very important Congregational Meeting on August 2, 2026, immediately following the 11:00 a.m. worship service. After prayerfully considering dozens of recommendations, the Nominating Committee will be presenting its proposed slate of candidates for the Pastoral Nominations Committee (the "PNC"). This new group of Westminster members will be entrusted with the sacred responsibility of finding our next pastor, with an exhaustive search rooted in the faith and core values that guide us at WPC.

Every week, Sunday, August 2 through August 16

Come sing with us whenever you can. Rehearsal is at 9:45 - 10:45 am, and the choir sings for the 11:00 am worship service. Anthems will be based on mostly familiar hymns.

Journey in Genesis
Join us this summer in Goodpasture Hall as we explore the Old Testament lectionary readings from the book of Genesis. Each week a different pastor will lead a casual conversation about that Sunday’s text as we explore this ancient story and how it still speaks to our lives today.

Summer Sunday School

Intergenerational Sunday School in Blevins Garden
August 2, 9, and 16

Dress comfortably for August Sunday School. We will be outside as we explore a Bible story; snacks and activities will be provided. There will be a service project each week as well.
We’re talking the text!  Each Tuesday, the pastoral staff discusses the sermon text for the upcoming Sunday, and we publish it each Wednesday in our eBlast and our YouTube channel on Wednesdays. We invite you to listen in and hear our conversation about God’s Word.
Please click here to listen to our new podcast.
Second Harvest Food Drive
For the next three Sundays, we will be collecting non-perishable food supplies for Second Harvest and a food drive at Crieve Hall Elementary. This is part of an effort being supported by a Hands-On Mission mini grant. Collection boxes will be at the Mayfair entrance.
