Research -- Wellness and Health Promotion (WHP 4995)
I am an Associate Professor from the Wellness and Health Promotion program, and I have an exciting research opportunity available in Winter 2024. Gaining research experience is a very important part of building your resume/curriculum vitae in order to make yourself a more attractive candidate for internships, graduate or professional school, or employers post-graduation.
If you are an undergraduate student, you would register for WHP 4995: Directed Research in Wellness. The class time and date will be determined based on overall student availability. I will train you on all research procedures, and you will gain valuable experience in questionnaire validity and reliability testing.
Some students who have taken this class previously and excelled in the class have been offered other opportunities to continue working with me on publications or conference presentations.
If you are interested in this unique opportunity, please contact me as soon as possible since there are limited slots available: elisebrown@oakland.edu.
