CAMPUS ACCESS & CANCELLATIONS DUE TO GENESIS INVITATIONAL

Genesis Invitational: February 12  - February 18: NO WEST DRIVEWAY ACCESS and AFTER SCHOOL ACTIVITIES CANCELLED: Please note that during the Genesis Invitational, many roads will be closed.
West Driveway CLOSED to all Revere vehicles (except school buses): All morning drop off and afternoon pick up will be in the circular driveway.  Revere students and families will NOT have access to the west driveway. This is due to the Genesis Invitational - a golf tournament held annually at the Riviera Country Club.  Please allow for additional time in the morning and afternoon, as we are anticipating additional traffic and congestion in the area.  Please drop off and pick up students in the circular driveway in the front of school, as you will NOT have access to the west driveway during the week.  The Genesis Invitational is providing traffic control officers to help move vehicles through the neighborhood. Click here for more information.

Afterschool activities and late buses CANCELLED: During this week, all afterschool activities and late buses are cancelled.  We are requesting that all students get picked up immediately after dismissal.  Please plan ahead and allow for more time.  While this is a big inconvenience, we are very fortunate that the Genesis Invitational continues to provide support to PRIDE so we can move forward with many of the projects to improve the overall safety of campus.

Friday, February 16 - Minimum Day Dismissal (12:43pm)
Please plan ahead and allow additional time in the mornings and afternoons during this week!!! Thank you.

DIGITAL CITIZENSHIP - CYBERBULLYING & DIGITAL DRAMA

At Revere, we believe in cultivating not only academic excellence but also strong moral character and community involvement. Our school's values, encapsulated in the Revere way, emphasize the importance of traits such as kindness, perseverance, integrity, responsibility, and respect. It is our collective responsibility to embody these values and integrate them into our daily interactions with others.

To further reinforce these values, this month we will explore the impact of digital drama, cyberbullying, and hate speech on both individuals and communities. Through these lessons, students will learn how their actions, whether positive or negative, intentional or unintentional, can have an impact on those around them. We will encourage them to become upstanders and create a positive, supportive online community. In addition, we will teach them how to develop empathy, compassion, and courage to combat negativity online.

We urge parents to actively engage in discussions with their children regarding these topics and monitor their online activities. At the end of the month, we will provide additional resources to help support these efforts. Let us work together to promote a safe and inclusive environment for all.
