Whether you want to change your major or have yet to decide what you want to study, the Exploring Majors Workshop Series can help guide you in the right direction. The Big Event is a day set aside for students, faculty, staff and alumni to come together to serve the Denton community with multiple nonprofit organizations. The Big Event day of service is from 7 a.m. to noon Saturday, March. 28. To participate, you must register to volunteer as a student organization or as an individual by Sunday, March 1.

Life as a graduate student can be stressful! The Grad Life Workshop Series is designed to help grad students make life a little easier. With multiple sessions throughout the semester, each covers a different topic to help students navigate the journey of earning an advanced degree! The first session of the spring is from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 16, and all workshops are virtual via Zoom.

Students who want to see if they qualify for financial aid for the Summer 2026 semester must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) before the priority deadline, Sunday, Feb. 15.
If you want to be considered for summer aid, the Summer Aid Interest Form will be available on my.unt.edu, starting Tuesday, Feb. 17. The priority deadline to submit it is Tuesday, March 17.

Every month, Student Activities comes together to choose an organization to win a $100 co-sponsorship. If you want to get rewarded for the efforts you and your organization have made for the past month, follow the instructions and apply on OrgSync by Sunday, Feb. 15. And make sure you re-apply by the 15th of each month through April to have more chances to win.
