Scholarship Support

Students interested in applying for scholarships are highly encouraged to check out XELLO where hundreds of local, state and federal scholarships are listed. Click Xello, College Planning, Scholarships. We recommend students boost their profile so the system narrows down the options for them based on their interests and circumstances.

Also YP365 scholarship support staff are at BMHS Library every Tuesday from 12:00 - 2:20 and every Thursday from 12:00 - 3:30 and they can assist with FAFSA, essays, and their scholarship application process. December 9th is YP365 drop in for juniors and seniors 12:00 - 3:00 BMHS Library to learn about the YP365 scholarship process.

My Future Pathways representatives are here at BMHS Conference D every Wednesday 2 pm - 4 pm and every Thursday 8 am - 10 am. They can assist with about 5 different scholarships they coordinate, as well as FAFSA, essays, etc.

Project Graduation 2026

Volunteers Needed!
Parents and guardians of freshmen, sophomores, and juniors — we need your help planning Project Graduation 2026!

It's tradition for underclassmen families to “pay it forward” by organizing this unforgettable event, allowing senior parents to focus on graduation celebrations. Our first meeting will be in January.

What is Project Graduation?
Project Graduation is a fun, meaningful, and supervised celebration for Battle Mountain High School seniors held on graduation night. It offers a safe, drug- and alcohol-free environment during one of the highest-risk evenings for teens.

For over 20 years, this cherished event has been entirely planned and funded by parent volunteers — and we can't do it without you!

To help, please send an email to bmhsprojectgraduationco@gmail.com.
