Downtown & Public Space
Right now, it’s required that you stay home and leave only if necessary. If you need some fresh air or want to get some exercise with your pooch; Downtown Tucson is a great place to be. Here are some tips to stay safe and healthy downtown:
- Use a cloth face coverings to help slow the spread of COVID-19. Learn more from the CDC by clicking here.
- Maintain social distancing – at least 6 feet away from others.
- Even though our full crews (dressed in purple) are out 24/7 sanitizing surfaces, don’t touch anything and if you do, wash your hands immediately at one the six hand washing stations installed by the City. Better yet, carry your own alcohol-based hand sanitizer as backup or stop by Jácome Plaza for the Purell hand sanitizing station we've installed.
- Use a tissue when coughing or sneezing or cough into the bend of your elbow.
- Disinfect and sanitize frequently touched objects.
- Most importantly – STAY HOME IF YOU'RE SICK!
