Cookie Pre-sales & Digital Cookie Online Sales start February 11 |
- Online orders for in-person delivery are approved in Digital Cookie. Orders for in-person delivery must be approved within five days or they are cancelled.
-
The Girl Scout’s site must be approved and published in a web browser, (Chrome, Safari, Edge, etc.) before they can login to the Digital Cookie Mobile App. The Mobile App is like your “mobile cash register” used to process in-person and booth credit card/Venmo/PayPal sales. Push notifications can be enabled to receive reminders for order approvals.
-
Marketing emails can be sent from Digital Cookie using the Customers tab.
-
Once orders are approved, customers get an email with an estimated delivery date based on our final delivery date (February 19) plus two weeks. River Valleys can’t adjust this date, so families should let customers know cookies will arrive after their troop receives its initial order.
-
New this year! Cash sales can be tracked using the Digital Cookie Mobile app for give cookies to customer now sales. View this video for details.

Once you have set up and published your Digital Cookie site, the cookie site link and QR code will be available on the Digital Cookie dashboard:

Care to Share Program Updates & Cookie Season Safety Training Reminders |
As announced at the Cookie Town Hall sessions last month, the Care to Share Program is a new initiative that offers a pathway for girls and troops to share some or all of their cookie proceeds to support sister troops most impacted by the uncertainties of this season. Here's the latest updates:
We have two simple forms ready for troops who’d like to share their interest in the program — an easy first step to get connected with the right support.
|
Review the updated Town Hall FAQs for answers to questions received during the sessions.
|
Reminder: our first cookie season safety training session is this Saturday, February 7. View the registration information in last week's Cookie Press.

Getting Ready for Initial Cookie Order Deliveries |
Initial cookie order deliveries will run February 12-19. There are two types of cookie deliveries, Mega Drops and Mini Drops.
Mega Drop Deliveries: If your Troop participates in a Mega Drop delivery, you have selected a day/time to pick up your cookies. Here’s what to expect the day of your Mega Drop delivery:
|
- Arrive as close to your appointment time as possible. Mega Drops are set up to move a set number of cookie cases each hour.
- Delivery agent staff will check you in and place a colorful “bubble” sheet on your windshield, which details your order by variety and is used to load your cookies. You'll receive a troop responsibility card to review.
-
Verify the count of cookies at each table. Cookies are stacked in groups of five (ex: two stacks + 2 cases = 12 cases).
- Follow the directions of the delivery staff. For example, the staff may ask you to exit your vehicle or ask for items to be moved. If you have a large order, we recommend you bring an additional adult to assist with loading the vehicle.
-
If your order requires two or more vehicles to fit the order, you must move through the line together. Wait for all vehicles to arrive at the site before entering the delivery lane.
- At the last station, staff will ask you to verify you’ve received all cookies and ask you to sign a confirmation sheet. You are welcome to take a photo of this confirmation sheet.
|
Note: The staff will try to move you through the drive-thru line as quickly as possible. We have troops picking up anywhere from 10 to 500+ cases of cookies at these sites. Allow a minimum of 30 minutes for your appointment. Your patience is appreciated during this busy, yet exciting week.
View the information for your troop’s delivery location and appointment time in Smart Cookies. Go to Orders>Troop Initial Order, then scroll to the bottom of the screen for the details of your delivery:
|
If your troop experiences an error at your Mega Drop delivery, such as receiving too many or too few cookies, report the issue within 24 hours to Girl Scouts River Valleys by completing our Initial Cookie Order Issues Form.
Mini Drop Deliveries: If your Troop participates in a Mini Drop delivery, the Community Product Leader will share the date, time, and location to pick up your cookies.
Whichever delivery type your Troop is assigned to; the Troop Cookie Manager is responsible for:
|
-
Arranging for pickup of the order. Reference the Cases per Vehicle Chart on Cookie Central for guidance on vehicle capacity.
-
Printing the Initial Cookie Order totals. Run the Troop Initial Order Report in Smart Cookies, or go to Orders>Troop Initial Order>and print the Initial Order page (which includes the delivery address)
-
Verifying the cookie totals at the delivery location and again before distributing cookies to families
- Setting a day and time for families to pick up their cookie inventory
- Issuing receipts to families to confirm the total cookies picked up. Use the cookie receipts from your Troop Cookie materials.
|
After the Initial Cookie Order deadline, troops can get more cookies through Cookie Cupboards. Check out our Cupboard FAQs for 2026.

Supporting Troops with Initial Order Cookie Deliveries |
Cookie delivery week is full of excitement and logistics. Remind troops to:
|
-
Verify their cookie case counts at their delivery location. Taking the time to count on site will save them headaches in the long run!
-
Report any miscounts to River Valleys within 24 hours of their delivery using the Initial Cookie Order Issues Form
-
If cases are missing packages, direct them to email girlscouts@girlscoutsrv.org with the number of missing packages, the manufacturing code printed on one of the packages in the case, and the variety affected.
-
Provide receipts to families each time inventory and/or money is exchanged.

Assisting Troops with Digital Cookie Girl Scout Account Questions |
