Family Campaign is Underway!

The UT Health Science Center Family Campaign has begun! The monthlong campaign encourages faculty and staff to give a gift as a show of pride in and support of our university’s mission. Donors who give $10 or more will receive a sip-and-stir mug, and employees who give at least $5 per month through payroll deduction will receive a badge reel. These items can be picked up at the Family Campaign Celebration Tuesday, September 17, 9:00 – 11:00 am, at the Student-Alumni Center.

DASH Training Town Hall This Afternoon

Learn about the training opportunities available through DASH at a virtual town hall today, September 5, at 2:00 pm. DASH will replace IRIS at all UT System institutions starting in January. Today’s town hall is part of a series sessions to help with the transition. No registration is needed.

Nominations for the Chancellor’s Faculty Award close tomorrow, September 6! The award is given to a UT Health Science Center faculty member who demonstrates exemplary leadership and support of the university’s strategic plan through performance and conduct.

UT Health Science Center officially has a new vice chancellor for Research – Jessica Snowden, MD! You are invited to meet her at a welcome reception Thursday, September 12, 2:00 – 4:00 pm, at the Health Sciences Library. Light refreshments will be served.

Medical District Wellness Festival This Weekend

The Memphis Medical District Wellness Festival is this Saturday, September 7, 11:00 am – 3:00 pm, in Morris Park. The event will include health screenings by UT Health Science Center volunteers, plus food vendors, live music, workout classes, and more!
