Become an Engaged Online Course (EOC) Peer Reviewer
Do you have online teaching experience? Would you like to contribute valuable insight and feedback to your colleagues who also teach online? If so, you may be interested in becoming an EOC peer reviewer. Peer reviewers play an important role in the EOC course review and certification process and contribute to the growth of quality online education at UT.

Introduction to Online Teaching Seminar for Graduate Students   
Digital Learning and Teaching and Learning Innovation (TLI) are pleased to offer the Introduction to Online Teaching Seminar for Graduate Students and Postdocs in Spring 2024. This is a six-week hybrid course with four synchronous workshops in Zoom that will be offered from January 31 to March 8, 2024.

Join Us for our Inaugural Digital Learning Book Club! 
Digital Learning and UT Libraries invite UT staff and faculty to join the inaugural Digital Learning Book Club in Spring 2024. This blended online community focuses on digital learning topics such as inclusive pedagogy, online equity, and community & care. Using both synchronous (Zoom) and asynchronous (InScribe) formats, participants will explore themes from the open-access book "Critical Digital Pedagogy," applying insights to current online education trends. The book club offers flexible engagement levels (attend and participate as you can), with no prior experience needed. Meetings are scheduled from February to May, about once a month on select Thursdays, from 12:00 to 1:00pm EST.

Sign Up for the Spring 2024 Jumpstart Cohort  
Do you need to build or redesign a fully online course? We are accepting requests to join our Spring 2024 cohort for Jumpstart. In your cohort, our instructional design and multimedia teams will guide your course development efforts, providing support grounded in research, including high-quality video, multimedia, and training upon request.
The Spring 2024 cohort will kick off the week of February 5 and run for 12 weeks (not including spring break), wrapping up by the end of the Spring semester on May 7.

Our Online Learning & Leadership (OLL) series provides new opportunities to engage with each other on best practices that enhance online learning and online programs.

The One Thing Video Shorts aim to create concise and informative videos that provide instructors with valuable tips and best practices to enhance their online teaching and learning experiences.      
These videos explore a wide range of topics related to online teaching and learning. This month’s video is titled, “How to Use Canvas to Create a Sense of Presence and Foster Belonging and Community Online.” Look for a new video each month!
