A new college has been named at UNT that will accelerate the university’s work in artificial intelligence and advanced analytics. The Anuradha and Vikas Sinha College of Artificial Intelligence and Advanced Analytics was named in recognition of a $20 million gift from the Sinhas that is transforming the College of Information into the new college, led by Dean Kinshuk. Vikas Sinha is a UNT alumnus who earned a Ph.D. in 2023.
The college will bring together programs and expertise spanning artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, data science, advanced data analytics, health informatics, information science, library science and learning technologies. It also will serve as a university-wide hub for AI and analytics research and education.
