Covid-19 Reporting Procedure for Employees

Employees are responsible for reporting positive cases and close contact exposure by completing the COVID-19 Reporting Form and following the appropriate CDC instructions for isolation or quarantine. All employees reporting a positive case or close contact exposure must request clearance by completing this form prior to returning to campus and submit it to UHS for approval. Contact UHS at eohs@uthsc.edu or 901.448.5630 for questions.

Dress for Success Charity Mixer and Donation Drive

You are invited to the Pearls, Pumps, and Purses Social Charity Mixer and Fashion Show sponsored by the Women’s Resource Group and the College of Health Professions on Thursday, July 21, 11:00 am – 1:00 pm in the SAC Gym on the Memphis campus. Please support Dress for Success by donating dry-cleaned and gently worn women’s professional attire on hangers, accessories, shoes, and purses in the Madison Plaza and the GEB, July 8-21.

Appreciation at Work Training Class

Learn the core differences between traditional employee recognition programs and communicating authentic appreciation between employees, supervisors, and managers during this in-person class July 13, from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm, in the Human Resources Training Room, Suite 755, in the 910 Madison Building.

Ditch Doodle and Safely Schedule Your Meetings 

Many of our employees may be using Doodle as a way to find available meeting times for a group. However, UTHSC's Cybersecurity team has received numerous messages recently about a Doodle malware outbreak. Please utilize one of the M365 alternatives: FindTime, MS Bookings, or Outlook Scheduling Assistant.

Volunteer for an Upcoming Poverty Simulation

Poverty Simulations are an educational experience for both volunteers and participants. Consider volunteering for an upcoming Poverty Simulation. Dates available to schedule are Friday, July 22, and Tuesday, August 2. No experience is required, and multiple roles are needed. Learn more and sign up to volunteer here.
