Temporary Phone Outage for Orange County Offices

On Wednesday, Sept. 23, Orange County offices are experiencing phone line outages. We are working with our vendor to fix the issue.

Please use these alternate phone numbers and communication methods until the issue is resolved:
  • Social Services: If you need to make an Adult Protective Services (APS) or Child Protective Services (CPS) report, please call 919-732-5063
  • Criminal Justice Resource Dept. (CJRD): 919-475-7361 or 984-999-5611
  • Asset Management Services (AMS): 919-619-8859 or 919-698-4772
  • Board of County Commissioners (BOCC): 919-485-9268
  • Information Technology: 919-943-2904 or 984-227-1097
  • Planning and Inspections: The public may use the permitting portal at https://centralpermits.orangecountync.gov/EnerGov_Prod/SelfService#/home. Staff are available by email.
  • Human Resources: humanresources@orangecountync.gov
