   RESEARCH AWAITS

Heads up, Eagles. The application deadline for the University Research Fellowship has been extended to 4 p.m. Thursday, June 18. This extension provides additional time for undergrad students who want to conduct research in their field of study to submit material. Students who are accepted will spend the 2026-27 academic year conducting research under the supervision of a faculty member and will receive a $500 award after presenting their research on Scholars Day in Spring 2027. Check out the Honors College website to verify your eligibility and don’t wait to get started on your application!

   MEMORIAL DAY

Monday, May 25 is Memorial Day when we honor those who gave their lives for our country while serving in the United States armed forces.

UNT will be closed and will reopen Tuesday, May 26.
