The Cultural Centers serve as outlets for student-run programs to explore social issues and identity. The centers bring students together to increase their understanding and embrace their roles as members of a diverse community, locally and globally. Gender Affirming Clothing Closet |
Private appointments are now open! See available times here. The Gender Affirming Clothing Closet is an on-campus resource with the intention of providing USF students access to free clothing and accessories within a safe space. This resource supports trans and gender non-conforming students who may face barriers to accessing affirming clothing, including safety concerns, financial challenges, and limited access to inclusive shopping spaces.

ISSS Tax Workshop Recording |
Missed our tax workshop? Access the recording here. The tax filing deadline is April 15. You can file your taxes using the online tax preparation software called Sprintax through MyISSS. In order to receive the discounted tax filing fee, log in through MyISSS and click on the Sprintax link on your homepage. Please note that the discounted fee covers free federal tax filing only and not state filing.

Join the Latine Undergraduate Network of Activists (LUNA) for a week dedicated to uplifting undocumented students through community, education, and celebration. In honor of LUNA’s 10th anniversary, this year’s programming includes a solidarity vigil, creative workshop, wellness-centered event, legal panel, and a final night of cultural performance and storytelling. UndocuWeek creates spaces where students can feel seen, supported, and celebrated — we invite the USF community to show up and stand in solidarity. Open to the USF community.

The 16th annual Social Justice Passover Seder will explore global climate change and environmental justice through the retelling of the Passover story. Attendees will reflect together on themes of liberation while connecting them to today’s environmental challenges. This year’s event will feature a collaboration with Dayenu, a Jewish nonprofit organization dedicated to confronting the climate crisis. Open to USF students.

This free and public event features Gamelan Sekar Jaya in a vibrant performance of traditional and contemporary Balinese dance and music, led by guest artists Ida Ayu Wayan Arya Satyani and Ida Bagus Made Widnyana. Gamelan Sekar Jaya is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving and sharing Balinese performing arts through performances, workshops, and cultural exchange between Bali and the United States. Make sure you plan accordingly so you have enough time to receive your document before you need it. All ISSS requests should be submitted through the MyISSS student portal (log in to your MyISSS account, go to Requests & Documents, and select the appropriate icon on the right side of the page). You can view our MyISSS Student Handbook for assistance with your submission.
