Vote in the 2025 Municipal Election

Westminster's municipal election will be held on Tuesday, November 4. Residents will elect a new Mayor, three City Councillors, and decide on Ballot Question 3H, which would increase funding for emergency services and repaving neighborhood streets.

Ballots will be mailed out as soon as tomorrow and are due by 7 pm on election day. Meet the candidates and read more about the ballot question at the link below.

Safely Dispose of Household Hazardous Waste

Westminster residents have a couple of different options for safely disposing of hazardous waste. With the City's Household Hazardous Waste Program, you can arrange for materials such as used batteries, TVs, paint, or gardening chemicals to be picked up at your home free of charge. Learn more.

Westminster's Sustainability Center (6020 W. 91st Ave.) also accepts some of these hard-to-recycle items for a small fee, including paint, TVs, other electronics, ink, and toner. Read more about what the facility accepts.

Tenants' Rights Workshop

The City and Colorado Legal Services are hosting a free Tenants' Rights Workshop on Thursday, October 23, at City Park Recreation Center from 5:30 to 7 pm. The workshop will provide valuable information to help renters understand their rights. This community event is open to everyone and will include translation services, childcare, and refreshments. Register now.
