- It is expected that students applying for Fall 2026 admission will use Slate for new admissions applications and complete onboarding and financial aid processing in the Banner system.

What is a Business Process (BP)? |
A business process or BP is a set of tasks that guides a transaction from start to finish—such as hiring, requesting a leave of absence, or changing compensation. In Workday, these replace the e-forms used in myOleMiss. Workday automatically routes each step to the correct person based on their assigned role, while enforcing security and business rules throughout the process.

|
|
Big milestones are coming—and support will be available every step of the way.

Stay tuned for details in upcoming issues!

Encompass is not just a new system or a technical upgrade, it is a transformational initiative that will shape the future of how we work and deliver services. These new systems will help us better support students, faculty, and staff—streamlining processes, improving access to information, and positioning us to meet the evolving needs of higher education.
