Dear Addlestone Community,
As Addlestone continues through this period of leadership transition, the Board of Trustees wants to provide our community with an update on our interim academic leadership structure. We recognize that many members of our community have questions about how the school is operating, and we hope this provides additional clarity and reassurance.
Our academic program continues to be led by an experienced team of educators:
- Early Childhood: Latrice Smith
- Lower School: Jennifer Eisenhart
- Middle School: Nancy Peeples
- Judaic Studies: Zahava Mimran
- Hebrew Studies: Orit Akunis
Together, these administrators oversee the day-to-day operation of their respective areas while working closely with one another to ensure a coordinated and consistent approach across the school.
The Board of Trustees has also designated Marcie Rosenberg, Chair of the Transition Committee, to serve as the liaison between the Board and the administrative team. The administrators meet regularly and maintain ongoing communication with Marcie to ensure continuity, accountability, and a clear connection between school administration and the Board throughout this interim period.
For families, the communication process outlined in the Parent Handbook remains unchanged. Questions regarding a student's classroom experience should first be directed to the classroom teacher, followed by the appropriate division head if needed. Student discipline and other day-to-day school matters will continue to be handled by the appropriate administrators. If a family has concerns regarding an administrator or believes an issue remains unresolved after following the established communication process, Marcie Rosenberg is the Board's designated point of contact during this transition.
While transitions naturally bring questions, our commitment to our students and school community remains constant. We are grateful for the dedication of our faculty, administrators, Board, and families as we continue working together to provide the exceptional educational experience that defines Addlestone.
