Sacramento State's College of Engineering and Computer Science has received a Bronze award from the American Society of Engineering Education for its work to promote diversity, equity and inclusion.
The designation from the national organization recognizes engineering colleges making “significant, measurable progress in increasing the diversity, inclusion and degree attainment outcomes of their programs.”
“It is a validation of our ongoing commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion within our academic community,” said Atefeh Mohammadpour, professor of Construction Management and the chair of the college's DEI committee.
