Finance Town Hall TOMORROW

All students are invited to attend a Finance Town Hall Friday, April 5, 12:00 – 1:00 pm CDT, in the General Education Building, room A104. Chancellor Peter Buckley, Executive Vice Chancellor Raaj Kurapati, and the Planning and Budget Council will share an update on the university’s financial state and answer questions. If you are unable to attend in person, you can submit your questions in advance and attend virtually via Mediasite (log in with your NetID and password).

Solar Eclipse Day Monday, April 8!
|
The total solar eclipse is on Monday, April 8! Memphis will be enveloped in 97% darkness during the eclipse’s peak at 1:57 pm. Stop by the Madison Plaza from 12:00 to 3:00 pm to pick up a pair of eclipse-viewing glasses and a solar snack! DO NOT look at the sun without proper eye protection.

| Complete Required HIPAA Training
|
All students, postdocs, and residents are required to complete HIPAA training each year to maintain compliance with federal regulations and UT System policies. The deadline for completion is Friday, May 31. The 2024 HIPAA training is available through Blackboard.

Learn more about the health impact of environmental disparities in Memphis at a Conversation on Health Disparities on Wednesday, April 10, 12:00 – 1:00 pm, in Schreier Auditorium in the SAC. Lunch will be provided for those who RSVP by Monday, April 8!
