Suicide Prevention Training

Suicide Prevention Training will be offered by the Memphis Crisis Center on Thursday, October 6, 12:00 – 1:00 pm, CDT. Training will be recorded and available on the UTHSC Suicide Prevention website.

Attend the Take a Stand Reception
|
Join the Office of Inclusion, Equity, and Diversity for the Take A Stand Reception, to hear information on domestic violence awareness from: Captain Joanne Morrow (Campus Police), Miki Sisco-Sankrityayan (OIED); and Sandy Bromley (Crime Victims and Rape Crisis Center).
This event will be held in the Mooney Library on the Memphis campus on Thursday, October 6, 10:00 – 11:00 am, with a virtual option to attend via Zoom. Refreshments will be served – come early! Registration for the event is required.

2022 Employee Appreciation Day
|
All UTHSC employees are invited to an Oktoberfest themed Employee Appreciation Day on Friday, October 7, 11:00 am – 3:00 pm at the green space at Madison Avenue and Dudley Street. Enjoy live music, food, and games. Register before the event – bring your UTHSC ID, pick up your meal tickets, and receive a free T-shirt at the Student-Alumni Center on Monday, October 3, and Tuesday, October 4, 9:00 am – 12:00 pm.

Boo Flu is Friday, October 21
|
FREE flu vaccinations will be available to UTHSC employees and students on Friday, October 21, 9:00 am – 3:00 pm, in the Madison Plaza. This flu vaccination clinic will be first come, first served. Additional dates may be added depending on the supply of vaccine. While flu vaccination is not required for the 2022-23 academic year, it is strongly recommended, and some academic programs may require flu vaccination.
