UNT Homecoming is in full swing, and there's plenty more to look forward to the rest of this week.

   COMMENCEMENT CHECKLIST   
Commencement weekend, Dec. 12-14, will be here before you know it! Make sure you’re ready by reviewing the Commencement Checklist, which includes information for the semester of, the week before, day of and after your ceremony.
The Fall 2025 commencement RSVP window opens Wednesday, Oct. 22, and closes at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 12. Check your graduation application status at my.unt.edu, and if you have been approved to graduate, you will be able to RSVP by logging in to Tassel with your UNT student email account.

Throughout October, the UNT campus will be crawling with hauntingly fun activities.  

If you’re looking for things to do off campus, downtown Denton has brewed up 31 Days of Halloween, packed with festivities all month long.

We Mean Green Fund Volunteers at a table
   WE MEAN GREEN FUND    
Want to help make UNT greener? The We Mean Green Fund is accepting project submissions for environmental improvement and sustainability initiatives on campus. If you have a project idea for implementation in Spring 2026, submit your interest form and email your project proposal application to WeMeanGreenFund@unt.edu by Monday, Oct. 27, and your idea could be funded!  

Also, consider joining the WMGF Committee. This group promotes awareness of the WMGF across campus and consists of students, faculty and staff who are passionate about sustainable projects at UNT. Members serve a two-year term. Applications are open through Monday, Nov. 3.

   UNT MOBILE BIKE SHOP   
If you bike on campus, don’t ride past this free resource! The UNT Mobile Bike Shop is available from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. every Tuesday through Thursday at Sycamore Hall, offering free, quick repairs and biking equipment at a nonprofit rate.
For added security, you can get a free bike U-lock from the UNT Police. Just bring your UNT ID, state-issued ID and bike to the police department, located in the Sullivant Public Safety Center on Wilshire Street, across from Mozart Hall.
