We’re currently experiencing an issue where emails sent from girlscouts@girlscoutsrv.org may be delivered to Spam or Junk folders. We understand how frustrating this can be—especially when messages include time-sensitive information. River Valleys is actively working to resolve the issue. In the meantime:

The St. Anthony Cupboard will close after Sunday, March 8 for the season. As a reminder, you can find Cookie Cupboard locations, hours, and drive-up instructions at https://girlscoutsrv.box.com/v/cookiecupboardinfo. 

The Care to Share Program is designed to provide support to Girl Scouts impacted by recent local immigration enforcement activity. While we don't know the exact impact, we do know our in-school programming has seen significant declines in attendance, with as many as 200 Girl Scouts across the council still sheltering in place. We anticipate approximately 1,200 local Girl Scouts will need additional mental health services as a direct result.

Girl Scouting can provide spaces for connection and healing and funds raised from Troop 2026 will directly support these Girls through programming, support, and funding to keep Girl Scouting possible.

To date, we have three troops, representing 30 Girl Scouts, requesting support from the Troop 2026 Care to Share program. We have room to support many more troops, as 63 troops have pledged their support to the program. The Care to Share Program is still accepting submissions from community leaders and volunteers looking for support and for those in need of support.

Troops can also join the new Care to Share Patch Program to learn about philanthropy and how their voice can make a difference.

The Troop Balance Summary Report in Smart Cookies is a detailed breakdown of your Troop's cookie sales activity, and should only be used for Troops not Juliettes. Check out this quick video for an overview of this important report. 

As cookie donations are made through a Girl Scout’s Digital Cookie link, it’s important to know the options available: when donations can come from troop inventory (Tracked Cookie Share) and/or when they are automatically credited to council inventory (Virtual Cookie Share). The half-way point of the season is a great time to check-in with your troops:

Celebrate Collaboration – Share sales results, give shout-outs to new troops or those helping to support their fellow volunteers, report on progress with Community proceeds.

Host Open Office Hours – Set up virtual or in-person sessions for leaders and cookie managers to connect and ask questions.

Cookie Transfers – Connect troops that have cookies with troops that need cookies, especially after their family cookie return date. Check the Troop on-hand inventory report in Smart Cookies to get a pulse on current inventory in the Community.
