Commemorative tartan design unveiled
|
UTA sought the artistic help of students in creating a commemorative tartan design that captures the spirit of its 130th anniversary celebration. A panel of judges selected by the Department of Art and Art History chose Rachel Chen’s as the winner of the Student Tartan Design Competition. Her design will be used on University merchandise that will be sold in the UTA Bookstore later this year.

| Measles outbreak: what you need to know

Measles case counts continue to rise in certain Texas regions. The threat of measles is low, especially among those vaccinated and persons born prior to 1957, who are deemed to have “presumptive immunity” and do not need vaccination.
