Look out for autonomous vehicles on the road and in the air

You might spot some new, eco-friendly visitors zipping around some campus streets or soaring overhead May 12-16. The project will use one autonomous electric ground vehicle provided by Mozee and two uncrewed electric aircraft provided by Aerialoop to complete the deliveries. Curious? Puppies bring stress relief to a yoga class

In honor of mental health awareness month, students, faculty, and staff gathered for a puppy yoga event, hosted by the School of Social Work and Cowtown Friends of Fort Worth Animal Care and Control. Enjoying relaxation during a busy time of year, Mavericks stretched and decompressed while adoptable puppies frolicked next to them in the School of Social Work and Smart Hospital building courtyard.

One degree and a baby

Kelly Meek celebrated her first Mother’s Day two days after she graduated with her master’s degree in 2024. At the time of her daughter’s birth, Meek was set to complete her first term in the eight-week accelerated master’s program in the College of Education. Determined to ace her coursework and finish her first term on time, Meek distracted herself in the delivery room by completing class assignments.
