Road closures around AT&T Stadium and Globe Life Field may cause delays

There is an afternoon and evening event Friday, May 9, at AT&T Stadium that may cause delays. Please allow extra time to park and enter Globe Life Field. At approximately 4 p.m.:
|
- AT&T Way will be blocked between E. Randol Mill Road and Cowboys Way.
- Cowboys Way will be blocked from N. Collins Street to Stadium Drive.
- All UTA commencement-designated parking lots will be accessible from Stadium Drive, East Randol Mill Road, and Ballpark Way.
- Staff Parking Lot A is available. Please show your parking pass to the parking control officer at Cowboys Way.

| Look out for autonomous vehicles on the road and in the air
|
You might spot some new, eco-friendly visitors zipping around some campus streets or soaring overhead May 12-16. The project will use one autonomous electric ground vehicle provided by Mozee and two uncrewed electric aircraft provided by Aerialoop to complete the deliveries. Curious? | Puppies bring stress relief to a yoga class

In honor of mental health awareness month, students, faculty, and staff gathered for a puppy yoga event, hosted by the School of Social Work and Cowtown Friends of Fort Worth Animal Care and Control. Enjoying relaxation during a busy time of year, Mavericks stretched and decompressed while adoptable puppies frolicked next to them in the School of Social Work and Smart Hospital building courtyard.

Kelly Meek celebrated her first Mother’s Day two days after she graduated with her master’s degree in 2024. At the time of her daughter’s birth, Meek was set to complete her first term in the eight-week accelerated master’s program in the College of Education. Determined to ace her coursework and finish her first term on time, Meek distracted herself in the delivery room by completing class assignments.
