📢 First Go-Live: August 1, 2025 |
The new admissions and enrollment system, Slate, launches August 1, 2025, marking the first major go-live milestone in the Banner implementation. Slate will offer a more modern, streamlined experience from the moment students apply to the way we welcome them as they enroll.
This is just the beginning. More go-live dates are on the horizon, so stay tuned to Encompass Essentials as the rollout continues this fall.

| We are less than 6 months out from the January 2, 2026, go-live of HCM and Payroll! End-to-end testing and training development are underway.
|
- Review your dependent information by October 31, 2025, to support the transition from SAP to Workday.
- Prepare for HCM and Payroll training, launching in October.
|
|
|
|
As the Banner ecosystem begins to go live, we appreciate your flexibility and patience. Transitions will happen in phases, and like any major system change, we’ll continue to refine and improve along the way. Each step brings us closer to a more streamlined experience for students, faculty, and staff.

Featured Integration: Slate

Slate will serve as the system of record for prospect, applicant, and admitted student data. Only admitted student data will be transitioned to Banner for further use.
- The undergraduate and graduate admissions applications as well as the Common Application for Fall 2026 will launch in Slate on August 1.

The Competitive Academic Programs Application and Leadership, Service, and Support Programs Application will open in Slate in mid-October.

Workday makes it simple to view your accrued Time Off, and even forecast how much you’ll have by future dates. Requesting, editing, or canceling time off will be more intuitive than ever, with just a few clicks.

Workday and Banner are designed to better protect sensitive information, whether it’s your personal records or student data. That means you can feel confident that what matters most stays secure.

What is a Supervisory Organization (Sup Org)? |
A Supervisory Organization or Sup Org is a group of employees who report to the same manager. Sup Orgs are used within Workday to define reporting relationships and drive routing, security, and reporting.
