It's opening night for our cast and crew of The Little Mermaid, and we are so excited for you to see this creative re-telling of a classic story live on the Founder’s Hall stage! It takes a village to put on the summer show each year, and we are blessed to have such a dedicated team collaborating to bring this beautiful production together for you all. The story of The Little Mermaid has been pivotal at different points in my own life – whether it was being a young girl going off to college and wanting the independence of Ariel, to being a parent of little ones and resonating with King Triton’s fatherly fear of losing his daughter, or to this summer seeing this beloved tale open up to a new generation of children who might see themselves represented. Reminder: The Spark Worship Band from the Florida Children’s Home will be leading us in a special morning of combined worship on Sunday, July 23, joined by guest preacher, Rev. Brian Carr.
