The map includes customizable features that enable users to personalize their experiences and highlight key destinations, such as academic buildings, residence halls, parking lots and dining options. The College of Arts & Sciences is honored to host Dr. Harris B. Bechtol as the next guest in the Seminar Series Book Talk. Bechtol will discuss his recently published book A Death of the World: Surviving the Death of the Other. Drawing on ideas from philosophy, poetry and psychology, Bechtol's book suggests mourning is a process without end as people learn to live in the world differently after the death of the other.

| University Community Gathers to Honor Lives Lost in the September 11 Attacks |
On September 11, A&M–San Antonio held its annual Patriots’ Day Remembrance Ceremony to honor the lives lost in the 2001 terrorist attacks and the bravery of first responders. Students, faculty and staff gathered in the CAB Courtyard for a moving tribute that included special remarks from President Salvador Hector Ochoa and Dr. Robert F. Alonzo.

Senior students graduating in Fall 2025 are eligible. Students must have a cumulative institutional GPA of 3.0 or higher. Multiple nominations for the same student are encouraged.
