As you prepare for your final exams, use the Study Cycle as a guide:
|
-
Step 1: Preview course material to understand the big picture and anticipate how concepts fit together.
- Step 2: Attend class by being attentive and engaged to gain insight from your instructor and students in your class.
- Step 3: Review course material soon after class while the information is fresh and summarize the key points.
-
Step 4: Study by scheduling several focused sessions for each class before the final exam.
- Step 5: Check in with yourself to make sure you have a strong understanding of the course material by assessing your knowledge regularly.
