United Methodist Women of Wellspring
This Sunday, March 29th, the United Women of Faith (UWF) Women of Wellspring (WOW) will hold its springtime potluck luncheon at noon following the 11 am church service. Wellspring women, their guests, and our youth are all invited to attend as we share a meal and celebrate springtime and Easter! Our special speakers will be Bob & Kelly Kalka from First UMC, who will share the success of their Quail Valley Neighborhood Ministry. As we consider Wellspring’s future relationship with Cooper Elementary School, we can look to this successful program for guidance in our own outreach endeavors. You are invited to come share your faith with other Women of Wellspring and their guests. There will be food, fellowship, fun --- and door prizes!! Questions: please contact Cathy Wyman (cdkwyman@gmail.com). All are welcome!

Join us this Holy Week at Wellspring!
Palm Sunday
Sunday, March 29
Regular traditional and contemporary worship services marking Jesus' triumphal entry into Jerusalem and utilizing palm branches in worship. "Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord!"
Maundy Thursday
Thursday, April 2
7:00 p.m.
Join us in person for our Interactive Maundy Thursday Service. We will engage in experiential worship at stations as we remember the last night Jesus shared with his disciples before he died.
For those who only worship online, please have on hand bread and juice, or whatever represents the body and blood of Christ for you, along with water in a bowl.
Good Friday
Friday, April 3
7:00 p.m.
Our Tenebrae Service of Darkness is a longstanding tradition at Wellspring, in which we read the scriptures telling how Jesus was crucified. As we do so, we extinguish candles to signify the deep darkness of the Lord's suffering. We will have worship online and in person.
Sunday, April 5 - Easter Sunday
Easter is a day when many people who don't worship regularly consider attending church. So it’s a great opportunity to tell someone you know about Wellspring by inviting a neighbor to church, sharing the LiveStream on social media, or telling a nearby family about our growing children and youth programs. We’ll be finishing our series on spiritual practices. Come and celebrate the Risen Lord!

Nursery Job Opening
Our current nursery staff is comprised mostly of wonderful college students. As such, they are unavailable many Sundays during the summer and over holidays. As the summer approaches, Wellspring is looking for more adult (18yrs & up) nursery workers – especially to help us out this summer. Shifts are 8:45am-12:15pm.

Cooper Elementary Teacher & Staff Appreciation Project
Wellspring’s Mercy & Justice team and UMWOW invites you to help show Wellspring's support and appreciation for the teachers and staff at Cooper Elementary as they enter the end-of-year scholastic evaluation season (STAAR testing). We want to provide non-perishable treats and beverages once a week over a three-week period in April when student testing takes place.
We estimate serving 50 to 60 people each week, so on each of the first three Sundays in April you can drop off needed items in the bin marked for Cooper in the Wellspring lobby.
Please use the sign-up sheet for ideas on what to donate. If you want to donate money so someone else can do the shopping, or you would like to drop off items prior to Sunday, please make arrangesments with Cathy Wyman (csnwyman@wymanusa.org).
