Larry Wakefield, who has more than four decades of experience in higher education budget planning and analysis and business affairs, has been selected to serve as the interim vice president for Indiana University of Pennsylvania’s Division of Administration and Finance. Wakefield will begin work at IUP on March 24.

The deadline to process an individual course withdrawal is 11:59 p.m. on Monday, April 7, 2025. Reach out to your Navigator if you need help with the process!

| IUP Baseball and Softball vs. Conference Opponents |
South Field Campus is packed full of action tonight, Friday, March 21! Both baseball and softball teams are up against conference opponents. Watch the baseball team take on Seton Hill in a double header beginning at 1:00 p.m. at Owen J. Dougherty Field. The softball team will play against Gannon right next door at Ruth Podbielski Field starting at 2:00 p.m. If you are unable to attend the game in person, you can watch your Crimson Hawks online.

To celebrate the opening day of Major League Baseball, Campus Recreation Services will host a Home Run Derby on Thursday, March 27, from 11:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. in the HUB Gym!

Join the Outdoors Club for a fun day of indoor climbing at Ascend Pittsburgh on Saturday, March 22, from 8:45 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.! Participants should meet in the HUB Circle.
Whether you’re a seasoned climber or a first-timer, this is a great opportunity to challenge yourself, learn new skills, and hang out with fellow club members. Ascend offers bouldering, rope climbing, and a supportive environment for all skill levels. No experience or gear? No problem! Rentals are available on-site. The Muslim Student Association will host a special Ramadan Iftar and Cultural Celebration on Tuesday, March 25, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. in the HUB Ohio Room. The event will showcase how Ramadan is celebrated around the world, the spiritual essence of Ramadan, henna art, and dinner to break fast. All are welcome to attend this free event. Submit your RSVP by Sunday, March 23.

The American Red Cross, along with the Office of Student Leadership, is hosting a blood drive today, March 21, from noon until 5:00 p.m. at Folger Student Center. Walk-ins are welcome, but appointments are preferred. You can make an appointment by visiting the website and entering IUPFDH or by calling 1-800-733-2797.
