Prepare for an exam by completing practice questions. Use a study guide or create your own practice questions. If you participate in a study group, ask each person to create their own set of practice questions to share with the entire group.

Did you know the library offers extended hours during finals week? Check out the exceptions for regular hours to see when the IUP Libraries will be open during finals. Reach out to your Navigator if you need help with a study plan, and make sure to stop by the De-Stress Fest on Tuesday, May 6, in Folger Student Center from 1:00 until 4:00 p.m. to help relax and get ready for finals.

Do you love pickleball, or maybe you’re wondering what all the fuss is about? Grab a friend and sign up by April 25 to participate in a 2v2 Double Elimination Tournament on Monday, April 28, starting at 5:00 p.m. at the Maple Street Tennis Courts. The tournament is sponsored by Campus Recreation Services.

Join STATIC tomorrow, April 26, from noon until 4:00 p.m. in IRMC Park (on Philly Street) for free food and 15 free dollars that you can use at participating businesses in downtown Indiana. Valid only throughout the day.

It’s that time of year again. Clean out your crisper drawer and ready your ranch dressing. The Lettuce Eating Club’s bi-annual competition is open to participants and spectators alike on Wednesday, April 30, at 5:00 p.m. in the HUB, Ohio Room. Who will eat their head of lettuce the fastest and be named this semester’s Head Lettuce? All are invited to join in on the challenge or cheer for their friends!

Currently, the re-registration process is open, so please encourage your club leaders to update the website to ensure your rosters, governing documents, and goals are set for the fall.

The American Red Cross will host a blood drive today, Friday, April 25, from noon until 5:00 p.m. at the Folger Student Center! Walk-ins are always welcome, but appointments are preferred. Streamline your donation experience and save up to 15 minutes by visiting RedCrossBlood.org/RapidPass to complete your pre-donation reading and health history questions on the day of your appointment.

How to Make the Most of Your Summer |
Use the summer to gain practical experience through internships, volunteer work, or a part-time job. Think about what you can do now to get ahead for the start of the fall semester or to land a full-time job/acceptance into graduate school. Make sure your résumé is updated, and take some time to read articles in your field or professional development books. Your future self will thank you!

Join us in the Oak Grove on Wednesday, April 30, from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. for the annual Chalk the Walk Sidewalk Chalk contest. Judging will begin at 4:00 p.m. We’ll provide the chalk (and cash prizes!), and you can make any social, political, or other comment that you want. Free T-shirts will be provided for all participants!

Dig into Spring at the IUP Libraries, happening today (April 25) from 1:00 until 2:30 p.m. in Stapleton Library, first floor. You’ll have a chance to plant a cutting or seed to bring a bit of spring home with you. All are invited.

Dig Into Earth Day, an Earth Day celebration in the Oak Grove, is also taking place today from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. There will be a campus plant walk (11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.), a chance to pot your own plant (11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.), and yard games. All are invited!

Lavender Graduation is an intimate opportunity for LGBTQIA-identified students and allies to be recognized for their accomplishments at IUP. Graduates from bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral programs can also request lavender-colored cords to wear in the official university graduation ceremonies. Lavender Graduation will take place in Elkin Hall’s Great Room on April 25 from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m.
