Cypress College Baseball (21-10, 8-4 OEC) continues to make noise both on and off the field, with five Charger alumni currently in Major League Baseball as players or coaches.
Highlighting the program’s academic excellence, recent alum Evan Rolbiecki was named a Scholar-Athlete of the State at the 3C2A Spring Convention.
On the field, the Chargers are looking to bounce back after a tough three-game series against Saddleback College, shifting their focus to Santa Ana College this week. Don’t miss game two of the series at home this Thursday, April 9 at 2 PM.

Brad Pickler Hits 1,600 as Chargers Power Through Busy Week |

Cypress Softball (18-11, 7-5 OEC) Head Coach Brad Pickler reached an incredible milestone last week, earning his 1,600th career win as Cypress Softball secured a 2-1 series victory over Saddleback College.
Cypress now turns its focus to a three-game series against Santa Ana College before returning home to host Compton College this Saturday, April 11 at 1 PM for an Alumni Event.

Chargers with First-Place Finish at Pasadena Invitational |
The Cypress men’s and women’s swim and dive teams turned in an impressive showing at the Pasadena Invitational, highlighted by a first-place finish from the men’s team and a strong sixth-place finish on the women’s side. Jasmine Liu led the way for the women with 1 gold, 3 silver, and 2 bronze medals (71 points), while Chantee Nguyen added 2 gold, 1 silver, and 2 bronze (57 points). On the men’s side, Sean Eoin Tannehill delivered a standout performance with 1 gold and 2 silver medals, totaling 66 points.

The Chargers are back in action this Friday, April 10, hosting the 3C2A SoCal Regional Dive at the Cypress College Pool Deck from 8–10 AM.

Chargers Split the Sand, Bounce Back with Big Win |

Cypress Beach Volleyball (9-8, 6-4 OEC) battled through a competitive Friday doubleheader, opening with a tough 0–5 loss to Golden West before bouncing back in a big way with a 3–2 victory over Irvine Valley. The Chargers turned the day around with a strong team performance in their second match.
Cypress now looks ahead to another Friday morning doubleheader, where they’ll take on Orange Coast and Saddleback.

Chargers Women's Flag Football Split Week, Eye Tough Slate Ahead |

Cypress College Flag Football (13-5, 2-2 OEC) picked up a strong win over El Camino on Tuesday before facing a tough test against IVC in an Orange Empire Conference matchup.
The Chargers continue to build and compete as they head into a challenging week ahead, with matchups against Long Beach State on Tuesday and Saddleback College on Thursday.

Cypress College Men’s Golf turned in a solid performance at Bear Valley Country Club, finishing third overall behind strong outings from Ian Shahwan and Aden Henry, who each carded a 76 to lead the Chargers.
Building momentum, the team now sets its sights on its next competition this Wednesday, April 8 at Steele Canyon Golf Course.
