Weekly Update - May 2, 2024

Dear St. Lukers,
What a week in the United Methodist Church. If you haven't seen it on our social media pages already, please watch the video below about what has happened in our denomination because of the work of our worldwide delegates, including our own Alice Williams, and the work done by St. Luke’s and its leaders over the last 5 years to help be a witness against the harm toward our LGBTQ siblings that was increased in 2019.
|
We have much to celebrate in worship this week, not only the power of all people in the church’s inclusion and work, but also those graduating from high school, college, and various educational programs, music with our Praise Team, Sanctuary Choir, Children’s Choir, and even some special dancing that may include some tapping! It will be a Sunday not to miss!
Grateful to lead a church that has been a witness and light of God’s love to our community, and our denomination.
Pastor Jenn
