Making Magic Happen
Women on a mission, that’s exactly what St. Luke’s UWIF (United Women In Faith) is all about. This group of women, with some help from the St. Luke’s men, is an extremely active group on campus raising funds for global, national, state, and local missions.
The Rummage Sale, The Ladies’ Tea, and the Holiday Marketplace bring in an income to support individuals and groups needing assistance. Organizations such as ZOE Empowers, Coalition for the Homeless, Sleep in Heavenly Peace, United Against Poverty, and Eight Waves Dream Center are recipients of their graceful giving, This past year they distributed more than $60,000 to many different groups!
It’s women helping women/children and families. The ladies of various religious faiths come together and they MAKE the MAGIC HAPPEN.
